Connecting with a QR code
- Open Channels → Add a channel → WhatsApp.
- Scan the QR code with the camera of the phone holding the number (Settings → Linked devices in WhatsApp).
- After the scan the channel moves to Connected — this usually takes a few seconds.
When the session drops
If the phone was offline for a long time or lost its network, the channel may ask to be authorized again. Its status then reads Re-authorization required — just scan the QR code again; the conversation history is kept.
Limits
One WhatsApp number can be connected to only one Chato workspace at a time.
